About Designex Cabinets

Working out of the heart of the Cotswolds, we are a small independently owned company solely specialising in glass display cabinets. This allows us to focus all our energy entirely on this one area which enables us to get things right.

As we manufacture all of our products ourselves we have full control over all processes and as a result of retailing direct, we can offer our display cabinets at superb prices, way below their realistic market value.

Since identifying the need for decent and practical glass display cabinets it has remained our goal to produce quality display cabinets which are functional and stylish while maintaining excellent value for money. This has led to us developing our own well proven range of products all based around our unique corner post system, which is slim line and elegant yet incredibly strong resulting in a secure and rigid display cabinet. These aluminium corner posts are the key to our very successful design, which has yet to be surpassed.

Not all glass display cabinets are the same, despite first appearances. Take a closer look and consider the construction.

The majority of display cabinets use the glass to support the cabinet, whereas on our design the cabinet supports the glass, which offers vastly suprior performance when it comes to stability and overall strength. Combine that to the way our corner posts trap and tightly hold the glass throughout its height and the result is by far the most rigid display cases on the market.

Also consider the implications of what may happen if the glass should break on a showcase which relies upon the glass to support the cabinet.

Manufacture

All of our glass display cabinets are hand built to the highest standards, using only carefully selected high quality materials from reputable suppliers including Pilkington's, Technibond, Trimplex, Reddiplex, illuma, and Auroro.

Superior furniture grade M.F.C. board from Egger is used to obtain a very attractive and hardwearing finish. This is complemented by aluminium extruded corner posts, factory anodised or superbly finished with exceptionally durable polyester powder coating. One of the many benefits of using only top grade materials is that the life span of our display cases is proving to be exceptional.

Bespoke

Bespoke display cabinets can easily be built to your own specification. Ranging from a change of dimension or extra option included to one of our standard models, to a specific design to meet your requirements, such as a small table top display case or a corner display cabinet. With no minimum order requirement, we welcome any bespoke enquiries.

Assembley

Our display cases are always fully built before leaving our manufacturing unit. Flat pack units in comparison can be complex and involve a precarious balancing act which apart from being timely, can often lead to breakages and damage.

Refurbishment

We can undertake refurbishment work to your display cabinets in case of damage.

Guarantee

All Designex display cabinets are fully guaranteed for one year. We reserve the right to change any specification at our discretion.
